Yes Matt... perhaps I should clarify my comment below. I did not intend to make a statement about men and women (very far from it actually). I was simply making a statement about tradition. You would not see this type of scene in the US regardless of sex and that is what struck me as beautiful. Hope that makes more sense. Bryan
Your photo shows not only the extreme cultural respect for the sangha, but also just pure colors and emotion. Alms giving in Thailand was always very similar. And in respect to the comment below, a lay man would get on his knees as well, it's not only the women.

Ahhh, what a wonderful foto... exceptional in fact. This foto says so much about their culture with the lady kneeling and the men standing over her filing by one by one. Manuel, you have a sharp eye. Splendid foto. Cheers, B-Real
