LIN-AY Sang ILOILO

December 30, 2005. I woke up early in the morning with one purpose in mind: to capture the beauty of my home province in one day (and with a model in tow).

LIN-AY is an Ilonggo word for a "lady". ILOILO is my home province located south of Manila (in the central part fo the Philippines). With a friend, Marisse, acting as my model, we boarded a cab and took portraits of life in Iloilo.

So, here she is... ang lin-ay sang Iloilo.

IMPORTANT: After sometime, as I go back to my old pictures of Iloilo, I decide to include them thus, this now becomes an Iloilo (and Panay) gallery, a tribute to my home province.

Manny, it's nice to see you zoom back a little and capture more environment and message. Of course you are famous for your tight crop eyeball shots, but I really have a craving to see more of your subjects connected and interacting with some surroundings.
