It's not often we have to deal with icy conditions in Central Texas.
When it happens, the light becomes very diffused, creating many unique sights
along old familiar trails. The trade-off between good depth of field but over-exposing and opening wide but soft focusing to capture that light
makes for walking a fine line between good and not so good exposures.
I hope this and the next 4 images aren't as muddy
as my boots got while hiking through the icy wonderland.
