Hi, I was searching for a pic of a Triumph I owned as a teen (1981). Your pics are the closest I've EVER come to finding that bike (sadly, Dad and I left it at the dump one day!). I received the bike for $100, the engine/tranny in a box. Wiring burned... but I got it back on the street. Even had the service manual for it: "Triumph 250 Tigre". I had been able to buy spares back then - but I can't remember if it was 1970 or 71. The exhaust was NOT a high (brush-guarded) type. The oil was in a tank on the right (not in the frame). Have you ever seen a bike like I'm describing? It looks like yours has a high-style exhaust. Just being nostalgic... would love to find evidence my old bike existed!
