Last Thursday, Med, Vic and myself, were treated to a day out by Arnel on board a BENETEAU FIRST. A 47.7 footer sail boat. There's not much adjectives to describe how much fun we had that day. I'll let my photographs speak for themselves. It started off as with reallly clear skyies that afternoon. We started at around 3:30pm, hoping to catch the afternoon sunset. 45 minutes into our trip, dark clouds started gathering over the Roxas Blvd area. Since we can see the build up, we decided to sail toward Sangley in Cavite. It worked for a while running away from the "gathering thunder storm".

As you can see in the photographs, the dark clouds eventually caught up with us 10 kilometers out in Manila Bay. I had to store the camera in a dry place, hence no recording of the event took place. Heavy rainfall, with matching thunder and lighting came. It got spooky for a while, as everything around us was white rain, and could not see more than 1.5-2 meters around the boat. Sails had to be brought down until the rain died down.
