Very nice photos of Peruvian backcountry! After encountering so many people on the Inca Trail 10 years ago, this trek of yours looks like the best. Keep exploring!

Mi nombre es Ricardo Carrasco Stuparich, fotografo profesional de Chile. En el año 2001 fui a Espiritu Pampa, pero por la ruta que bordea el rio Urubamba. Llegué a la ciudadela despues de caminar 3 dias por la selva. Tengo imagenes de la ciudad y de una cebeza de serpiente tallada que encontramos las tres personas que fuimos. Excellent site. It is a shame that this place is not known among many people. Espiritu Pampa was the last refuge of the Incas when the Spanish stole Peru and impossed their language, culture and religion. They even buried the place.
