In a sense, Memory Lane was an instant ghost town, since its owner,
Otis Eldridge, built it entirely in a 1950s style appearance, including
most of the details. The town includes a general store, a 40s type
car dealership, a gas station, a bank, a school, a church, a diner,
a bowling alley, a small drive-in theater, and many other buildings,
as well as a number of old cars and trucks. It is the yearly site
of a popular gathering of classic car enthusiasts on Memorial Day.
