Trying out a new Tamron 28-300mm lens, I decided to shoot some series of the same thing using varying focal lengths to give me a sample of the effects of the various amounts of zoom. The only post processing of these images was to make the height 700 pixels and set the jpeg rate so that the memory use was less than 200KB. Any failures of perfect focus should probably be ascribed to the photographer not the lens.
