The sun in splendour

Haughmond Hill, Shrewsbury is covered by woodland with guided paths and walkways. Nearby is a quarry and the famous Haughmond Abbey. Much of the undergrowth is a wild fusion of bracken, small trees and a myriad of plants fighting for survival under a dark canopy. On a misty morning, when the sun comes out, the rag-tag forest floor is transformed into a beautiful mixture of colours and textures as the light dances between the trees.
