There is so much about this photo to admire - the rich reds and browns of the floor tiles, woodwork and chairs countered by the soft muslin-like curtains; the lead-in from the carpet up the bookcase to the ceiling; the seemingly randomness of the room itself. Wonderful composition Steve, full of life and interest; for someone who excels at night shots, you handle daytime exposure pretty well too! V

I think the decor style is referred to as shabby chic. This is certainly an artist's dream room. beautiful use of diffused window light creating a lovely mood. v.

This room screams cozy. I love the book shelf and the ladder used as shelving. The chairs look inviting and the artwork left on the easel adds to the ambiance. I like the way the rug draws my eyes into this image, and I see the speakers to play some relaxing music. Splendid tiled floor.
