A photo of an old iron-mongers - a dying breed now that the out of town 'Do it yourself' stores reign supreme!
Been very busy recently and haven't had time to post or comment much - sorry! Off to France to the Marciac jazz festival on July 17th for 3 weeks. Will get back to normal after that!

Not only a great, atmospheric picture of a great institution, but, what about the smell ! Paraffin, tar and dry firewood, with a symphony of taps, string, kettles, dustbins etc. rattling away in the murk. Marvellous.
