I like a lot of things about this photo. The blue light is awesome. The soft, misty water is beautiful. I'm not convinced you need an ND for this shot. I agree with Gilles, that maybe a little sharpening of the pier might be all that is needed. V

I just need to get out from behind the work computer and use mine more.

I suggest a variable ND filter; this is the one that I bought:

The main problem I've found with the OM-Ds is that the digital viewfinder tries to "correct" the view so you don't necessarily get a good appreciation of the light level that you'll get before you shoot. (I find the same problem with circular polarisers.) Rather than cycling through a series of different ND values it's easier to just have one filter that you can adjust to get it where you want it. They're more expensive but you need buy only one...
