First lamb

The lambing season has started on our neighbour's farm so expect lots of cuteness in the coming weeks.
I felt for sorry for this young one as it spent most of the day sheltering from wind and rain thanks to Storm Ewan.

Better that than being served up with mint sauce, I suppose. Wow that's come around quickly, yet again. When I see you first lamb photo of the year I know that the seasons are turning. We've had some rather autumnal weather over the last few days. (Yes, that IS a good thing; it's far and away out best season.)
