The foggy dew and spiders' webs

Today, when I was hoping for sunshine so I could go and capture the autumn colours in the Mourne Mountains, we had lots of moody fog.
At least there were spiders' webs by way of consolation

We rarely get such delicate webs, that can hold small drops like that. Unfortunately ours tend to weave webs covering the couple of metres between the trees in the garden and the front door, meaning that you end up brushing yourself down for half an hour after walking through them rather than getting artistically geometrical shots like this.

What a great find. I'm hoping we get some fog soon, usually get it in the winter here. V

Excellent capture of this beautiful web. The drops of water look like little jewels glistening on it. V.
