Summer seems to have deserted us with lots of rain forecast for this Bank Holiday weekend. It was a case of dodging the showers when taking Fudge for his walks today.
Very nicely composed image with the well placed boat. "V" Here we start almost every day off foggy and cloudy, minus the rain, and in the afternoons it is sunny and hot. The effects of living between a cold ocean and a hot desert.
Oh, sorry, I think we may have borrowed it. (Mostly sunny, 11-23 down here today. Sorry, I didn't want to make you green with envy, but still, that shade fits in well with the verdancy of the hills in the background...) The grey clouds and the slight waves, particularly those breaking ones in the foreground suggesting a touch of wind, does give this a mid-winter feel, though. The angle of the bank works nicely as an eye drawer.
