Well hello there!

I went back down to the bluebell wood where Saturday's photo workshop took place as I wanted to get some photos of Fudge for the 52 Weeks for Dogs project I'm doing over on Flickr.
Spotted these four donkeys as we were heading back home.
Despite the fact that donkeys feature largely in the popular tourist perception of Ireland, there's not many donkeys to be found around these parts.

A well choreographed donkey crew. It reminds me of a time in Connemara when a friendly donkey got its head stuck in my car window, but that is a story for another time...

Ranchers in Texas keep donkeys to ward off the coyotes from the herd. Nice find!

interesting and asinine tourist cliché you refer too...oh so true too..this quartet do not seem mythic figures, yet rather, real, free, and perhaps a tad feisty..

And they stopped to pose for you...how lovely :))

What a great capture with charming subjects who all seem to have their eye on you. Light is exceptional as well. V.

They noticed you :-)

not often you get as many as four unless its a resort that features them - our neighbour has two to do his grass cutting

This is such an adorable shot, and the quality of the light is marvelous. V
