Standing out from the crowd

I went on a wildlife photography workshop today.
Somewhat naively I thought I'd end up sitting in a hide shooting red squirrels.
Instead the class took place in a parish hall followed by a visit to a nearby wood.
Please ignore the stupid ISO. I had intended using my OM-D EM 5 but the battery died, even though I had charged it, so I ended up using the D7000 but neglected to check the settings.
I got a a few tips, found a bluebell wood and met some friendly photographers so it proved a pleasant day.

Looks great, the 200mm really makes the smooth background and nicely focused on the pretty bluebell. V

Despite the high ISO, it turned out quite well and is a lovely spring capture. V.

Well one thing is certain the " stupid " (your words not mine 😄 ) ISO worked like a charm...this is positively beautiful. The battery life in my EOS-M is appalling, which completely baffles me as to why Canon would allow this.

challenges galore, yet you found a way through the mess...this is clearly an individual worth considering...
