#26

I live in the countryside so perhaps it's only natural that I love nature.
It's also something I inherited from my parents.
My father, in particular, had a deep interest in wildlife, and my mother was very fond of animals, caring for our farm animals as fondly as any pets.
This book, 'The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady', features the beautiful drawings and observations of Edith Holden.

It's a nice, soft, light as befits a shot for September (in the northern hemisphere anyway). The use of the natural wood of the chest as a background and the seeds and leaves emphasise the point of the shot.

Beautiful and precious book! You've made a lovely composition with the natural leaves and feather. V.
