Rain on the Horizon

We've had a couple of lovely warm sunny days but rain is forecast for tomorrow.
Took Fudge for a walk after work - trying to make the most of it before the evenings are too dark.

I'm sure he appreciates it. This one has what I think of as "the photographers' gift"; the circumstances where the sky is somewhat dark but shafts of sunlight still light the ground, especially when it's grass as in the foreground. It almost always makes for a very good look. What appears to be a light band of showers over the water is an added bonus.

A fine shot of this looming storm. I love stormy weather and this kind of landscape, though there is nowhere to hide when the storm hits! V
