I love having fresh flowers in the house.
These sunflowers were cheap, cheerful and grown in Ireland, making for a guilt-free treat.
As we enter autumn, I like to prolong summer by having sunflowers in the kitchen - they remind me of travelling past golden fields while on holidays in Italy or Spain.

A beautifully composed still life with excellent color. I like the way the flowers are casually laid on the table rather than in a vase, although they must look lovely in your kitchen. V.

They are ripe for the picking...you grow them here and flocks of cockatoos haunt the place LOL!!
