Swan Pond?

It's funny how swan pond doesn't have quite the same ring to it as swan lake!
But it was at Stephenstown Pond that we saw this magnificent -and angry- swan. One minute it was swimming around gracefully and next thing it rose from the water and flapped its wings before gliding away.
I suspect its mate was minding a nest on the far side of the pond and it was simply telling the afternoon walkers to keep their distance.

Nice timing! I watched Canada Goose land on the water right in front of me, camera in hand, but not pointed at the scene!

Not as light on it's feet as Nureyev was, but he's giving a good interpretation LOL!!

I think you have summed up the trouble with swans, I am sure they are schizophrenic!
Its a brilliant take I am glad you risked life and limb!
