Waiting 2

This pair of pigeons are the latest visitors to the bird feeders.
I have to admit they're not what I had in mind when I started
putting out food for the birds many years ago.
This enterprising couple are the first pigeons to have realised that there's food to be had underneath the feeders and they've been paying frequent visits in recent days.
Not a great shot, taken through a window. They flew away as soon as I opened the front door in hope of getting a better shot.

We have a pair that feed of ours everyday, they are really cheeky and stand on the dofferent levels to get at the feeders, great shot of them through glass.

I guess they're pretty smart pigeons, in the end. Lovely color and detail on the pair! V.

I admit they are not desired visitors around here...

Pleasant creatures but, just like people, they can be irritating if there are too many of them!

Nice looking pigeons. They look like they've had a row :-)

I think they are pretending they don't know there is any food about, until you disappear!

They're very pretty...can be quite bossy with other birds though when it comes to sharing

Like a pair of bookends here. I think it looks fine through the window. Super clarity. Pigeons get a bad rap. These are pretty. V.

I have dozens of doves that congregate under the feeders. So many that it leaves a mess. I think as long as you have two, it won't cause problems. Afterall, they need to eat too. :)

Are they not talking? They must be married.....
Brian Samuel13-Apr-2013 20:35
That's teamwork, between them they've got the area covered looking for food.

Tweedledum and Tweedledee...? Nicely caught; and I'm impressed this is through glass....
