From the Other Side

I'm on holidays this week, so after dropping my son to school, I headed down to Soldiers' Point.
It's on the opposite side of the bay from where we live so you can see where we walk Fudge most days.
There was a strong, nay freezing, east wind, so I didn't stay too long although I could have had a seat had I wished.

You've really caught the feel of it. The greyness of the water, the choppiness and white caps speaking of a chilly wind, and the weather-beaten appearance of the boat all suggest a place that you'd like to escape from back to the warmth and comfort of yesterday's home made spicy carrot soup.

I can almost feel that wind! Very effective shots!

What a grand place for a walk, Mairéad.
Some people are such pigs, dumping their unwanted furniture anywhere they please. It was a good find for you, though.

A pretty scene but it does look rather chilly. I would have passed on the seat too although I like the way it looks in black and white!

It does look like a raw day. The scene is quite dramatic with the choppy water and fog. I like the boat and the red buoy in the scene. V.
