We devoted most of today to decorating. I should point out that I am using the 'royal we' here. My sole contribution
was about 20 minutes applying some undercoat to the skirting board along one wall while himself undertook the
task of papering. And we wouldn't have to do this task at all if Toffee hadn't attacked the walls when he was
younger - jumping up and leaving his clawmarks in the wallpaper so it looks as though Edward Scissorhands
had been walking along the corridor. Hopefully he has grown out of the habit.....
