It was another warm and sunny April day, so warm in fact that we
decided to postpone a planned hike and went for a leisurely walk
around Stephenstown Pond instead. It's a haven for water fowl
and as well as the resident pair of swans, there were lots of
coots and waterhens, some with babies, as well as mallards
and opportunistic crows who were taking advantage of the
bread which had been thrown to the overfed ducks.
