Sunday's Walk

Just a quick snap today at the start of what turned out to be a quick walk.
Another dull but thankfully dry day, so with a high tide covering the beach,
we headed to Rockmarshall Wood. At the end of the path, we met a friend's
sister-in-law with her two friendly spaniels. As we turned back, we decided
to let Fudge off the lead as there were no sheep to be seen. No sooner had
we set him loose but a Doberman bounded round the corner. Luckily he
was a friendly boy and his owner, a power walker, soon appeared. The
return leg of the walk back to the car was spent with Fudge galloping
happily alongside the Doberman and me panting as I tried to keep up
with his owner. Guess I burned off more calories than I intended.

What a fun story, loved it! It does look a little bit cold and damp on that path yet.

Fudge has become a dog rather than a pup, or perhaps, more like a gangly adolescent. This is a wonderfully composed shot, with Fudge looking back as if to say "keep up mum!" V

Lovely. I hope you enjoyed the jog, I'm sure that Fudge did.

My dog gives me the same look when we let her off leash. It's as if she's saying, "are you coming?"

Looks lovely, but Fudge wants you to speed it up a bit :))

I like the angles in this; the road leading off into the distance, Fudge looking back along it. They help move the eye along the entire image to take it all in.
