Waiting

Our beautiful autumn weather has come to an end and today was dull and overcast,
with rain on the way.
Took Fudge to Carlingford and, as the craft and coffee shops were out of bounds for
my canine companion, I wandered along some of the side streets and back alleys.
I liked this artistic attempt to brighten up an abandoned cottage, overlooked by
the Celtic Tiger which saw rampant development encroach on this little village
with its medieval buildings.

Did you have to hold Fudge back?! What a great idea and well captured.

Let's admit that without Fudge your days would be much poorish :) Excellent capture and renovation. BV

That's a very clever and inexpensive "urban renovation" project! Unfortunately around here graffiti "artists" would find it necessary to overlay it with their illegible "tags" 5 minutes after it went up. I think you've cropped this well too; keeps it pretty much to the essentials of the image.
(I know I'm behind in my commenting; not because my lens was broken, just because *I* was again. Shall try to catch up in the next few days.)

This is terrific! It certainly enlivens the building. I thought at first, all was real until I looked more closely!
