Teething

Back to work today to a 10 hour day which left little time for photo opportunities.
At least I got home for lunch and grabbed this quick shot of Fudge on his favourite
chair. He had decided that he's too good for the dog basket and despite the fact
that I've been applying an 'anti-chew' spray to the arms of the chair, he has
been sinking his teeth into it. Several friends have told me that they still have
furniture bearing teethmarks to remind them of their dogs' puppy days, so I
guess I'll have to live with it.

With a face like that, how could anyone be angry at him for chewing a chair? :) Nothing that can't be fixed.Adorable capture, Mairead! V

He's done a job on that one arm! Soon he won't fit in the chair any more :-(

he's had a good knaw on the far arm-rest, and seems to be eyeing his next target...hard to be upset with such a lovable character though...great shot...V

Very cute shot, it seems you will have a lasting reminder of this time.

That has to be the cutest face ever. I'd be tempted to let him chew whatever he wanted!

So cute...

Dog owners usually have teeth marks on the furniture, hair on the chairs and sofas and scratch marks on the doors. They seem to live with it happily! Great portrait of your pup!

Nah. plenty of chews should keep him occupied

Oh dear, yes, I see the effects from the teething! Flossie chewed the window sill a couple of years ago, so I have a reminder too!

I stll have four kitchen chairs with teethmarks from my first dog, Töpseli. A yellow lab. She died of old age 15 years ago. She managed to mark a lot of furniture in just a few days. Then she got a whole elk-skull as chewtoy and THAT was much more fun than old chairs ;o)

He's so cute!! Bad... but cute!

Try this, it worked for our teething pup. Take a clean washcloth, or small towel, soak in water and wring. Then stick it in the freezer (twisted from wringing out) until it's rock hard. It'll make a great chew toy (under supervision of course) and the coolness of it will sooth the aching gums.

Yep, he's definitely claimed that chair as his. He's so cute and looks very innocent here. ~V~

Just letting you know who's boss ;o)

for some reasons, pets don't want to chew their "chew toys". Hopefully Fudge will grow out of this phase soon.
He is awfully cute!!! V

A lot of light and shadow in this image; the light (cuteness) and dark (chewage) sides of Fudge?
