Rosebud

Sorry for those, ie Alan, who were expecting a story to go along with this yesterday.
Obviously I did intend adding some wort of caption, and yes, I might even havied tied it in with Orson Wells' classic film, but family life got in the way. There was a teenager wanting to use the computer, a jog to be undertaken, and a film to watch.
Actually I felt I was doing well to take a pic as I made the effort to stop at row of
old cottages which make up Ballymascanlon Village on my way home from work.
The roses still bloom although the houses have been abandoned and are slowly
becoming more rundown over the years.
And just as well, as the clouds soon closed in and the sky opened, although it did clear later,
uust in time for me to go for a jog up the road.

The sunlight illuminates them so beautifully against the shadowed background. It's a well-composed delight!

I see the snapshot, but I've been waiting all morning for the story! In the absence of one appearing very soon, I'm going to assume that it's something to do with Orson Welles in Citizen Kane. (Or a parody that I once saw which had Arnold Schwarzenegger playing Orson Welles playing Citizen Kane.) Either way, it's a nice picture of a "Rosebud".
