'Bees make honey, men make money,' my mother used to say.
Sometimes we get so caught up in making money, in spending it,
or wishing that we had more of it it, that we forget that the really
important things often don't cost at lot. Once we have enough money to feed
and clothe ourselves, educate our children, pay our mortgage,
and buy camera gear, then there's no guarantee that more money
would bring greater happiness.
Friendship doesn't cost anything except
time and an open heart and the beauty of nature doesn't cost anything
except an eye to see it.
