Meeting Máire

Went to Dublin today to meet fellow Irish Pbaser Máire. As the weather has turned cold again
we spent an enjoyable couple of hours practising our portraiture skills. I had never given
much thought to portraiture before other than pointing a camera at someone and telling
them to say 'cheese' so I've realised that I have a lot to learn. Or maybe I should just
stick to shooting cats and birds.

Portraiture isn't easy, especially when you really analyze it. I usually just shoot for what I like to see even though my lighting or angles don't fit the rules. Don't just stick to cats and birds - shoot whatever you feel from the heart!~

Wonderful Máire! When I ask someone for a portrait, I often take one, possibly two more after they think I've finished and sometimes they can be the best!
