Can you get on board to photograph them? That would be cool!

Great shot for marooned. They look like they need some care, especially the one in the background.

Just until the tide comes in again, then they can sail away...or are they *really* abandoned??? Great shot Mairead
Stephanie30-Nov-2009 20:33
Nicely composed! I agree with Cindi, once the tide comes in it's Bon Voyage!
Cindi Smith30-Nov-2009 20:05
that is until the tide comes in. Gotta love it!!!!!!! Excellent shot!

these would always look better with the tide in, the white one does look in a lot better condition that the others though..... looks like lovely scenery surrounding the port

A good depiction of the EU's effect on fishing I imagine. Abandoned boats are always a sad sight I think, you think of the work horses they have been for all those years. "How mnay seas does the White Dove sail before she sleeps in the sand" Dylan coined it perfectly.

Too bad that they are abandoned. The one in the foreground looks in fairly ok condition.
marita toftgard30-Nov-2009 16:23
brilliant image

Oh dear, they do look a bit high-and-dry. Only one of them is close to maroon though ;o))
