The MV Linda arrived in Dundalk harbour with a cargo of timber
from the Baltic at the end of July.
The eight crew members are in dispute with the Lativan owners of the ship,
saying that they haven't been paid. They have been given money for food
by the Harbour Master in Dundalk. Two other ships belonging to the company
have been detained in Holland for non-payment of wages. The crew of the MV
Linda are from Russia and the Ukraine and are a long way from their families.
