Holy Well

St Brigid's Well is in the grounds of the old
graveyard at Faughart in north Louth. The
saint is believed to have drawn water from the
well and pilgrims tie pieces of cloth and leave
Rosary beads on the tree growing beside it

I like the PoV and composition, Mairead - the eye is naturally drawn down the steps into the well itself. Those colourful pieces of cloth brighten up the background bushes...V
