The Art Tea

Some months ago, when I was not feeling the best, a wonderful friend sent me a gift voucher for a special afternoon tea in a hotel that is as famous for its art collection as it is for its sense of style.
Today was a special day for me, so I decided to celebrate it by using the voucher.
The afternoon Art Tea was wonderful: beautifully presented by very professional staff.
The food was delicious: I forgot about calorie watching and enjoyed every crumb and morsel.
The pictures in this gallery will remind me of a special afternoon long after I have worked off the calories.

I enjoy watching these "story" galleries unfold as new images are added day by day; it's almost like seeing the story played out in the daily "The Phantom" comic strip in the newspaper. (Only with fewer swarthy villains and rather more cucumber sandwiches.) You've certainly picked up a knack of making the best use of available light for clandestine food photography.
