A sprinkling of amber,orange, pink, white and green

My mother had two bushes with these roses growing outside our back door. One bush had the pink variety, the other white. The only sustenance they ever got was the regular deposit of tea-leaves (in the days before tea-bags!). She loved those flowers.

June 25th would have been her 87th birthday.
