The eyes above represent a mother’s eye, daughters’ eyes, a teacher’s eye, a librarian’s eye, a caring eye, an artistic eye, an observant eye, an astygmatic eye (mine!), a camera eye, a mascara-ed eye, three eyes bare of make-up, the blue-eyed ones, the green-eyed one.
The word ‘eye ‘itself must be one of the most creatively used words in any language - as a noun or a verb or in many imaginative figures of speech. This challenge has set me thinking about some of them!
