This silly swan has forgotten the laws of nature, as she neglected the fact that the water levels in the lake rise in late Spring. Local people hope that her cygnets will hatch before that happens and that her young ones will be spared. She is the only swan of the many on the lake who appears to have done this, so I hope that this time her silliness won’t end in sorrow.
