The Grinning Snowcat

We tried to make it a Grinning Snowcat
but he wouldn't cooperate. He kept laughing at us,
and spitting out the little twigs and stones
we were putting in his mouth to make his smile.
Then he laughed so hard that one of his ears fell off.
His sculptor tried to patch his ear back on again,
but I fear he was a giddy cat
as the temperatures were somewhat above freezing.

I have to admit that when I saw the thumbnail I thought that it was an actual cat who had suffered a dumping of snow! Very clever, and an effective amount of shadow in the body detail.
