Snowman

Another sculpture from the grounds of IMMA, in Kilmainham, Dublin.

After looking at this picture (and I thank you for the visit),
if you have a little time,
you might like to visit also our Virtual Art Gallery
where there is now a photo competition being exhibited
(obviously the competition doesn’t include any of my photos,
but it’s based on many beautiful photos submitted by PBase members;
I simply help to organize and host that)
If you like what you see there
you may be motivated to express your preference there
to help determine the winners.
Thank you

I am impressed at the wide range of public art in Dublin... not just the usual statues of one-time-famous figures

At least I can see you in this snowman...I wonder how the artist sees Santa Claus :))

Great art in its simpleness.
We had a lot of snow the last two months, and a lot of real snowmen. :-0

It does look very touchable! I like the reflections too!

I would not have believed someone would sculpture a snowman. Nice capture.

I agree with Mairead, it looks very tactile.

A fun sculpture with a surface begging to be touched.
