Iris blues

For Laine: because she has started me thinking of blues again!
I think it is the blue veins in these lilac-purple petals that add interest and depth to them.

Yes, the veins make for an interesting texture; might have been a little too blue had it not been for the splashes of yellow, white and green to add balance, though.
