Cold Windows

What has happened to bricks, stones, mortar? A great amount of our newest buildings in Dublin seem to comprise walls of windows constructed around the obligatory initial liftshaft and curvilinear S-shaped roofs. This image would have suited the architecture scavenging topic also.

they are impressive but I like good old brick and stone.. guess in that size it wouldn't be practical though.. cool shot!

My eye keeps searching out the "Z" shape. A cleaning nightmare though I expect it's automated.

Not suited to our climate, imagine the bill for keeping those rooms cool in summer! But amazingly we have plenty of buildings similar... Superb shot Máire!
