tufts cove
NSP has used very little of the gas at the Tufts Cove power plant,
instead selling it in the United States, where it fetched a high price.
In 2001, NSP says, gas sales brought in $31 million.
Consequently, it claims power rates weren’t increased
because cheaper fuel — bunker C oil was used.
