Dang's comment made me think that no one would know what these were so: These are light towers at an athletic field in the neighborhood where I grew up. Kinda figured people would wonder what they were. When we were kids we used to climb these and throw firecrackers off them...funny how kids always know how to get into places, over walls, under fences eh? If there was a fence we couldn't get over, we'd just tell the neighborhood dog "dig" and she'd dig and dig under a fence untill she got under...and she was fat enough to make a hole a 12 year old could get through, and we'd give her a "twinkie" or something. We never damaged anything intentionally, but it seemed we must have thought we shouldn't be locked out of anywhere...8-)
