Hi Jeanne...I think it does change a great deal. They "hit" harder, are more graphic in a way almost the difference between a peice of art done in brush and ink, and one done with paint or pastel. Thanks much.

The image, when in high contrast, becomes something else in a way...eliminating the midtones just helps push the "value" envelope further...love this one.
