Thanks much Tom
I think I favor this too, and maybe one of the others, of this series. I think this one gets a little more attention too because it's different than the others. This process I used here works great for B+W. You can, while looking at the B+W image, vary the lightness or darkness of many of the colors (all of them in the saturation command of PS) so it gives great lattitude in lightness or darkness of each contributing color as it relates to the whole. Almost like as if you had a variable filter for each individual color. I think I found it on the Luminous Landscape site...I'm going to check.

Still my favorite of the series.. I think with the black page, it makes it pop even more, but it's more. The main trio keeps you inside the frame, while the lower two pull your eye in. 3's & 5's.. odd numbers always work for me. Fine job all the way.

Thanks Isi and Manfred...I honestly think this is my favorite in this gallery too. It has a bit lighter "feel" than the others. I'm trying to get away from the darkside but it keeps pulling me back....hahaa

Thanks all. Did this one in photoshop. Started with a high contrast/high key to begin with and went from there, mostly just converting to black and white. Thanks again.

The high contrast adds character to the flowers.
Very dynamic composition, Barri!

My favorite of the series. Just love the high contrast you do. Nothing else like it. gmv
