Factory closed, Been here as long as any can remember.
Almost everyone knew someone or had a relative that worked here at some time.
Good wages, good benefits once. A few thousand jobs lost, no not from migrant or foreign workers,
but from machines in another place, and in that place, many have also lost their jobs
to the new automated factory that's been constructed there. I've read that of manufacturing jobs lost,
only around 15% have been lost to workers in other countries,
the rest to machines and robotics. Any way the work once done here is gone.
