It would have been nice if I could have shot this from a different place. The only problem was that I'm pretty sure that the river had just recently receeded from the area. The ground covered with extremely slippery, silty mud. The riverbank was mostly covered with piles of loose driftwood. I was walking out on that when I decided that it might not be a great idea since I didn't know if I was currently over ground or water. So I turned around, and halfway back my leg slipped through the wood into the mud.
I was a bit dissapointed here, since I had been thinking that this falls might have good photographic potential. Actually, I bet that in other seasons it'd probably wouldn't be hard to get some good shots here.
