We had visted this area in the summer of 2003. There was a little bit of water in the creek near the trailhead, but it petered out as we hiked upstream. We met some people heading back, and they told us that there was water in the creek further up. The area in this picture was completely dry when we were last here. I remember hiking back up the streambed looking for the place where the water was transitioning to underground.
