No, I haven't been there yet. It's a little long for a day-trip for us. I'm hoping to take a mini-vacation at Antelope Valley, Carizzo Plain, Death Valley, and Mojave one of these years.

Beautiful shot! Have you ever been to the Mojave's Wild Poppy Reserve? It's about 1.5 hours Northeast of L.A. Really beautiful, but it's season is over this year. I think the peak is around mid-April...
